E.Y. Lee's Choy Lee Fut Program
In the system taught by Sifu Lee, students begin with an intensive six-week conditioning course stressing the fundamentals of Choy Lee Fut. This course consists of punching, kicking, basic stances, and internal power exercises. Following the conditioning course, students learn forms, which are specific routines comprised of combat techniques and conditioning exercises. During this stage of instruction, students begin to master actual applications for self-defense against individual and multiple opponents. After approximately four months, students take their first examination and upon successful completion receive a symbol on their belt, which indicates promotion to the next grade. The first phase contains seven grades and can be completed in approximately two years of study.
E.Y. Lee's Chen Tai Chi (Taiji) and Silk Reeling Program
The school teaches the Chen Tai Chi Laojia Yi Lu (Old Frame, First Routine) form and foundational Silk Reeling. Laojia Yi Yu is taught in small groups, with break out sessions providing students with individual attention and focus. In working with students, the instructors concentrate both the detail of the form and drills which employ the self-defense applications within the form.
Silk Reeling is taught as a group class with particular focus on the the physical and mental benefits of the practice, along with practical application of the movements for self-defense. In addition to the self-defense aspects, Silk Reeling invigorates the body, loosens stiff joints, improves strength and coordination, settles the mind, and provides transcendent stress relief. Silk Reeling is an excellent introduction to Tai Chi for beginners, and requires no previous martial arts experience.

E.Y. Lee's Children's Program
Classes for children ages five to thirteen are offered on Zoom and person. Your child will develop concentration, confidence, discipline, and respect, while building physical fitness, coordination, and self-defense skills in a safe and fun environment. Choy Lee Fut is an excellent martial art for children because it emphasizes physical fitness and practical self-defense techniques.
E.Y. Lee's Yang Tai Chi (Taiji) Program
The school teaches the 108-move Tai Chi Chuan long form and the 37-move short form. Advanced tai chi students who pursue the complete tai chi system learn applications for self-defense and the tai chi sword and saber. Furthermore, students will learn qigong (internal exercises) and meditation. Progress in tai chi is the result of individual effort and does not require the strenuous exertion of other martial arts. Students studying tai chi also have the option of practicing pushing hands, which is a two-man training routine that utilizes tai chi techniques, as well as sparring.
E.Y. Lee's Qigong Program
Our qigong class is designed for those who wish to develop their internal strength. Qigong is an ancient Chinese breathing exercise that promotes physical wellness, clarity of mind, and improved circulation of blood and qi (life energy).
